This training module can be used to meet the annual Civil Rights training requirement for all staff and volunteers. This course covers Civil Rights topics including protected classes, types of discrimination, how to work with program participants, compliance, accessibility accommodations, and more.

Family-Style Meal Service

Family-style is a type of meal service which allows children to serve themselves from common platters of food with assistance from supervising adults setting the example. Successful family-style meal service empowers young children to build life skills and independence. This course will cover key considerations and best practices for transitioning to and implement family-style meal service for your participants.

Rural Non-Congregate (RNC) Meal Service

Rural sites are now allowed to serve non-congregate meals. This training will focus on giving you the information you need to successfully provide meals to sites in rural areas, including how to determine what is a rural site and the different rural non-congregate meal service models.
